About Josie Siler

Josie Siler, like millions of others, is living with
chronic illness. In January of 2008, Josie’s life took a dramatic turn as she
suddenly began to experience widespread pain in her muscles and joints. It
wasn’t until 2010 that she was diagnosed with undifferentiated connective
tissue disease with lupus like symptoms, as well as asthma. The first eight
months of 2012 came with diagnoses of dermographism, fibromyalgia, insomnia,
chronic migraines, and what is most likely gastroparesis.
Josie has come to the point in her journey where she firmly believes that God has allowed her body to be broken for a greater good. She is continually surrendering the life that she thought she would have in order to embrace the life that God has given her. Josie joined Broken but Priceless Ministries in September 2012. She is eager to share the hope and joy that she has found in Christ, whether that is in a church, at a women’s retreat, over a cup of hot cocoa, or through a blog post.
